Theology for everyone.

Cathedrals have been at the heart of the Church of England’s mission to educate and evangelise for over a millennium. As the teaching-seats of bishops, they are positioned to teach and defend the faith in the public square and, historically, have been important local centres of learning - instrumental in founding many of our oldest schools, theological colleges and indeed universities.

We are committed to using technology imaginatively to enhance the vocations of our cathedrals as centres of Christian teaching for the whole Church of England. We believe this to be a basic pillar of our duties as cathedral chancellors, but also increasingly aware that understanding the faith with historical and critical intelligence is needed across the Church of England.

Helping people within our dioceses and beyond to seek and love God with their mind as well as their heart, it is our hope that this Network will give greater confidence to all God’s people in understanding and sharing their faith with greater integrity and confidence.
